Dashboard · Strings™ Attached
Every workflow visible. Strings™ attached.
Sirona has partnered with Strings™ (a 3DR company) to deliver best-in-class clinical analytics. Every click, scroll, and measurement becomes operational intelligence legacy systems can't provide. Rolling out to customers now.
How Sirona is Different
Workflow events, captured as they happen
On-premise PACS and reporting systems log completions: a study was opened, a report was signed. Sirona's platform captures the steps in between. Every workflow state change (study created, ingested, assigned, claimed, dictated, signed) is written to one versioned event stream at the moment it happens, not reconstructed from logs afterwards. Because the whole workflow runs on a single cloud-native platform, there is no stitching together of logs from five vendor systems. That event stream exists today and powers Sirona's own monitoring; the Dashboard is being built on top of it.
Operational intelligence across every workflow
Powered by Strings™, the Dashboard turns Sirona's unified data layer into operational insight for practice leaders, operations teams, and health system administrators.
Practice Analytics
Dashboards for volume and turnaround time, built from workflow events rather than overnight batch reports.
Workflow Timeline
A timeline for each study, showing how it moved through ingest, assignment, reading, and sign-off, for quality review and optimization.
Event monitoringBenchmarking & Comparison
Compare performance across sites, shifts, modalities, and subspecialties. Identify patterns and outliers with statistically meaningful cohorts.
Health System Overlay
One view of exams read by internal staff, contracted groups, and teleradiology partners, on consistent metrics.
Learn moreProactive Alerts
Automated notifications for SLA breaches, volume spikes, turnaround degradation, and workflow bottlenecks, before they become problems.
Audit Logging
Sirona logs changes to clinical information, including patient and order updates and study lifecycle events, to durable, access-controlled storage that supports HIPAA audit requirements. Beyond the audit trail, Sirona captures detailed application event data, including session replays of how the application was used. We are making more of that data available through the Dashboard, and over time through the SDK and APIs.

Strings™ Partnership
Analytics purpose-built for radiology operations
Strings™ brings deep expertise in healthcare analytics. Combined with Sirona's unified data model, the result is an analytics layer that understands radiology-specific workflows — from order-to-report turnaround to the time a study spends in each phase. This isn't a generic BI tool with radiology templates. It's analytics built on a data layer that captures the full reading workflow.
Radiology KPIs such as volume and turnaround time
Drill down from practice-level trends to a single study's workflow timeline
Exportable reports for board presentations and payer negotiations
Custom metric definitions for practice-specific workflows
Cloud-Native Advantage
Every workflow step captured because every step happens on Sirona
Legacy analytics tools attempt to reconstruct workflow from HL7 messages and DICOM logs, fragments of what actually happened. Because Sirona is the viewer, the reporter, the worklist, and the AI layer, every workflow state change flows through one versioned event stream: structured, attributable, and consistent across the platform. That stream runs in production today and powers Sirona's own analytics and monitoring.
Unified event stream across viewer, reporter, worklist, and AI
Workflow state changes recorded as they happen, not approximated from HL7 timestamps
Versioned event schema, structured and attributable
No stitching of logs across vendors
Health Systems
See how your patients' imaging is being read
For health systems using Sirona as an overlay, the Dashboard gives consistent operational visibility across all reading groups. Internal radiologists, contracted private practices, and teleradiology partners all operate on the same platform and produce the same workflow events, so turnaround can be compared without relying on self-reported data from external groups.
Same workflow events for internal and outsourced reads
Turnaround tracking by reading group
Consistent comparison across contracted partners
Designed to replace monthly PDF reports from external groups
Phase Timing
From totals and averages to the steps in between
Legacy analytics are limited to what a single system saw: an order, an open, a signed report. Sirona's event stream records each workflow step on one platform, so the Dashboard shows where time goes between order and final report, not only how long the whole thing took.
Time in each phase: ingest, assignment, reading, sign-off
Turnaround by site, modality, and reading group
Assignment and completion history per study
One continuous event history per study
