Reporter

Cloud reporter and
VR software that works

The first cloud-native reporter, in clinical use today.

Your reporter software was built for HL7 (not DICOM), and isn’t a medical device.

As a result, your reporter can’t use pixel-based AI to drive reporting— not without becoming a medical device.

This prevents radiology reporting from being AI-powered.

How Sirona is Different

Pixel-Powered Reporting

Sirona’s reporter can ingest and process DICOM images natively, allowing reporting workflows to be powered by pixel and multimodal AI in a way no other reporter can.

Use Any Mic

We recommend Speechmike 3700 models for general use, but support everything from Airpods to traditional dictaphones and everything in between.

Platform AI

Save time every day with
powerful, embedded AI

Impression generation fine-tuned for you

Auto-impressions customized for every radiologist and practice. It’s the next generation of a feature radiologists love.

Free dictate and let AI do the rest

AI places words in your template and replaces words they conflict with, all in real time.

Catch speech errors and clinical inconsistencies

Left vs. right. With contrast vs. without. Let AI catch dictation and clinical errors for you.

Embed 3rd party AI

Let 3rd party AI products insert results directly into your reports.

Unified Data Model

Link pixels to words
at every level

Sirona ties all your data together — images, reports, speech, AI findings — into a Unified Data Model powered by a proprietary ontology, SironaLex. This facilitates a real-time, bidirectional connection between pixels and words that is the crucial building-block for AI-powered reporting.

From reports to studies

Automatically populate the priors section of reports for every prior you hang.

From sections to segmentations

Automatically navigate images by selecting their corresponding sections in reports.

From findings to images

Navigate to key findings from the report text. Linkage can be AI or manually generated.

From words to measurements

Make a measurement, and insert the number into the report automatically.

Pixel-Powered Reporting

Let pixels populate
your reports with AI

Sirona’s reporter is built on top of RadOS — giving every report direct access to the pixel data, the AI inference graph, and the structured clinical record. Three new reporting paradigms become possible.

Auto-Findings

Let AI results flow directly into your reports

Pixel-based AI findings are linked to images, sections, and impressions — so AI inferences populate your report the moment they’re computed, with full traceability back to the pixel.

Auto-Navigation (Coming Soon)

Ask conditional questions and jump to the pixel

“If priors mention liver nodules, hang the most recent study that mentions them, show me the biggest nodule, and switch to lung tool.” Conditional clinical queries that move the viewer for you.

Auto-Drafting (Future Direction)

Pre-draft and error-check entire studies

In the next five years, AI will pre-draft and error-check certain exams in totality — across all findings. To be ready for that, your practice needs a pixel-powered reporting platform built on top of DICOM and the medical device regulation.

Reimagining the Report (Coming Soon)

Deliver a modern, multimedia report product

Sirona is focused on fundamentally reimagining the radiology report product for the age of AI. Doing so requires DICOM-native reporting, which Sirona has pioneered.

Multimedia & Multimodal

Sirona’s reporter is effectively a website with DICOM-native infrastructure. As a result, we can build reporting workflows that allow multimodal AI to drive a more multimedia report product, delivered in modern URL format to patients and referring physicians.

Patient Reporting

AI can take diagnostic reports and transform them into both language and format that is dramatically more approachable for patients.

Enterprise Grade

Secure and simple to set up

Sirona’s reporter was built with the full power of RadOS – giving it access to the full suite of security and enterprise management tooling Sirona has built for the complete platform. Combined with the ease of setup, Sirona’s reporter delivers more security in less time.

FAQs

What internet performance does your reporter require?

>50mb with <200ms latency to AWS US West is recommended. You can test your latency at https://aws-latency-test.com/.

What microphones do you support and which do you recommend?

We support all microphones, including Airpods and other headphones. We do QA on Speechmike 2700’s, and recommend all dictaphone users use this generation of models. We support legacy Nuance Speechmikes and other such microphones, but do not recommend them.

What workstation hardware requirements are there for the reporter?

The reporter uses very limited client-side compute and memory resources, so no reporter-specific hardware requirements apply. In general, more modern and powerful machines will perform better on all tasks, including running Sirona’s reporter.
